A stone's throw from the villa, the small town of Lavinaio offers an excellent bar-pastry shop, a well-stocked supermarket, a tobacconist's-gift shop, a hairdresser and a post office.

On request it is possible to activate babysitting services, excursions, transfers to and from the airport.

The name Zaffiro Lavaco derives from our preference for the blue color of the stone, which represents the sky and the sea of Sicily and which you will also find in the house, married to that of the lava, given that we are at the foot of the highest active volcano in Europe.

Etna and beyond

Zaffiro Lavico is the perfect "base camp" from which to undertake excursions in a unique area of its kind, the Etna area. Thanks to the proximity of the house to the motorway exit, it is possible to easily reach Catania, Taormina, Syracuse and the Ragusa coast.
